How do I connect up LED lights to the battery
adams0723 replied to tlogic's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
Do you want them to work in conjunction with your sidelights/fog lights ? If so you can take the + from the wiring to the side light. If you want them to work on a standalone circuit then I got no idea how to get a feed in. 'normally' there is a grommet in the passenger side footwell. -

Do you not just tap the live into the sidelights and attach the earth to the bodywork? I fitted aftermarket parking sensors and they just required 2 wires (one to live reverse so they only come on when put in reverse, and the other wa attached to the bodywork (for earth) Adam. -

Ask tezza buddy he'll be able to get the parts you need. You can get them. I enquiried about the flap and I had to take a sit down after. Was about £80ish IIRC. U better off trying eBay or a scrappy (or wrapping them in something) Adam -
Hello mate. Thanks for that. I've just ordered 2 sets (one for front and one for rear) so they should be fitted hopefully next weekend :-) Cheers. Adam

Hi everyone. I remember reading a post not too long ago from someone saying they wrapped their door pillars. I've done a search but can't find it. 1. Does anyone know where this post is? (and yes I have used the search function) 2. Does anyone know how to remove the door pillars? Cheers for the help guys! Adam

U got the reg pal???

Ha Ha Ha It was these pictures that got me thinking about them!!!

I looked at the ford one but IMO they seem a bit to big and chunky. The rally ones seem a bit more subtle and dare i say it less 'old man' like than the ford ones.

Hi everyone. Im just after some pictures of a mk2 focus (pref in blue) with some aftermarket mudflaps on. Thinking of getting these from ebay but not 100% sure if they will fit will / and look good. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rally-Mud-Fla ... 5d2554710f Cheers All

No I wouldnt want the Embarrassment of: 1) Starting the car (so people can hear it sounds like a tank) 2) Pulling up at a set of lights knowing you have less than half the amount of horses under the bonnet. 3) Knowing deep down it isn’t the real thing. For me the RS is what it is because of both the way it looks & performance, if you take one of the 2 away it just wouldnt feel the same. And also I’m with andy with this one, id rather get an ST. (mk2 st that is 8) )
