CMAX section will go members only as of the new year
CharlieR replied to bryant_andy's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
You are correct in what you say, the Cmax section did go to members only when the rest of the forum went over to paid members only. The decision was reversed at the time in an attempt to generate more interest in the Cmax section. Regards Rich FFOC SMT So you think that by making a pay and display section again that it will generate more posts or are you tired of the Cmax section and looking to loose it again? What has changed in the last 2 yrs? Some people just want some online info and chat/discuss/fain solutions this way, some people don't want to part of a "CLUB" we want to help o -
Sorry should have said 215, I thought that the depth was a percentage of the width hence 215/45 would give the same speed as a 205/50 tyre as it was the same rolling circumference?
-
Hence the £200, I need 205/50/17's for mine so may be a bit more then. Cheers Charlie
-
My wife CMax has 205/50/17's on it and am in need of 4 new tyres. Have though about the Toyo PX4's but they do not do them in this size. Would 214/45/17 be the same? Cheers Charlie
-
Andy Which ones did you get, need 4 new ones again and def not getting conti's again. Cheers Charlie

The tyres on my wifes Ultimta wear the same on the back as the fronts. 15k ish out of both fronts and rears? Don't know why the rears wear out at the same rate as the fronts but they have for the last 2 sets.

I have an 2.o TDCI Ultima, great car 32k on the clock and no probs. Best thing I did was lower it. and privacy glass to the front windows.
-
yes had that, its the hill starts and I thought I burnt the clutch out, this was 20k ago. Ford couldn't explain it
-
Yes but most of the rear seats are folded

Help with sorting the damage out

Get some auto glym cutting polish and try that -
Not many Ultimas around though. Cheers anyway

Here are some pics of the saris rack and how I mount it Doesn't solve the wiper problem though.
-
Because of the arc it sits up on the bit behind the spoiler and arcs over it. very good for my car

Not yet, the Cmax is in the bodyshop and not due out for a couple of weeks. Good thing with is I put the feet on the roof bit of the boot and it then still shows the numberplate and the rear lights very well. Have had 2 adult bikes and 1 childs on it.
-
22000 miles and had both rear wheel bearings replaced with rear pads at £180. Why would they go at this mileage?
-
I have just bought a Saris Bones rack. Excellent rack and very easy to fit http://www.wiggle.co.uk/ProductDetail.a ... 5360009223

Getting Ford to Deal with the Poor MPG Issue
CharlieR replied to topgazza's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
I've got a Mondeo ST TDCI whilst mine is in the garage. Filled it up last week and it is averaging 46mpg and I have done 440 miles to 3/4 tank. Much better than the Cmax and its a 2.2 compared to the 2.o cmax -
Got the estimate today, just a little under 6K
-
Just a quick question, I was hit on the N/S yesterday on the motorway and the front and rear doord are damaged and the rear wing. I noticed today that the rear door sill also has a large crease, is this covered by the rear wing or is it a major job? Cheers Charlie

Thats good around town. My wife gets low 20's in hers but on a run up in the 50's
-
How easy should it be to disengage the EPB. I tried once without any joy.
-
What colour is it?

The wifes now at 70mph will return over 50mpg and on a recent trip to france with a roof box and driving at 80 in france averaged 45mpg.
