My mk1 did exactly the same... in fact, pretty much all cars ive driven have done the same, but not as much as the mk2... think its the responce time from the electric throttle putting more fuel into the engine.... just the way it works i suppose

Personally i wouldnt bother with the induction kit... sucks in too much warm air... i have a K&N panel filter and its as good, or i would say better then the induction kit.... doesnt suck in warm air from the engine bay

simion_levi, first thing i would test is the radio... ford did have a problem with radios still using quite a lot of power even when the car was turned off (standard sony stereo's) I used to leave my car for a few days and the car was dead, but now ive changed the stereo, its fine.
-
The hardest part is getting the old stereo out
-
I ran out of fuel which is why i wanted to change it, as all the crap which was in the bottom of the tank will be in the filter now :(

fascia: http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/produc ... /6802.html
-
You need a fascia adapter for all double din stereos to fit in the focus
-
Ask tezza mate... he'll give u the ford part numer... Ford will be like the only place you'll get them from, as they are extreamly rare
-
I got a new stereo  One thing though, i dont remember the EML coming on though.... the car was just flat, had to jump start it
-
yep... the square sony stereo's
-
mk3 focus :? I had a similar problem with my car... the battery was dead after two or more days sat there doing nothihng.... i managed to pin point this to the sony stereo, as it was drawing power even though the car was turned off

Dont know a bodyshop around your area... but ill give you an idea of time and price.... My ST kit cost 200 to spray and fit, this was front / rear bumpers and side skirts. They had the kit for 2 days and then the car for a day... 3 days in total

It comes as standard on the higher model focus's... but the wiring is there on all focus models apparently... if you do a search for it in this section, it has been discussed before
