  1. Aye that will be what the sponge has done to the paint.... a good tcut will get most of them out, but to stop them getting worse... use a mit ;)
  2. Using sponges for one thing, sponges dont have a deep enough "pile" so if your car has any fine bits of grit and you rub them with a sponge it just scratches your paintwork. When it comes to drying if you use a chamois this will do the same. Pure flat material so if there is any dirt left you'll cause fine scrathes known as swirl marks. For washing i'd recommend using a lambs wool wash mit. Check the car cleaning topic! loads of threads about sponges in there
  3. Make sure you have put the connector in the right way round aswell...
  4. Hope you dont use a sponge! Especially on a black car!!!!
  5. They are two seperate bits, you have the bass speaker and the trebbel speaker, aswell as a little box for splitting the trebbel and bass signals. I got a set of these for around 45 quid from my local audio supplier.
  6. in theory they should... will just need a caliper converter to allow for the bigger disk
  7. I have fitted these into quite a few cars now: http://www.hertzaudiovideo.com/schedaPr ... &numprod=3
  8. Aye the sound quality out of them is mint, they will be a straight swap, but not sure what size you need though
  9. personally, a set of Hertz component speakers http://www.hertzaudiovideo.com/default_en.htm
  10. is there... i cant find any up here like... need front part of skirts
  11. Just get a decent set of components speakers ;)

  14. S11nny, You will have warped your disks if your steering wheel shakes when braking! Which involves a new set of disks.....
  15. You dont really need a front strut brace on the focus, as the front crash beam goes straight across the front of the car, which stops the roll... the only place you would really need on is on the rear!
  16. Richy, there is a place in Sunderland which does laser alignment for cheap... will find the deatails for you! Need to take my car there
  17. cant be wear and tear if its only 5 months old.... argue your point! Brake pads and disks last around 1.5-2 years
  18. TBH the breaks on the focus are pretty good... if i was going to uprate them i would go for a set of 3pot calipers and drilled/grooved disks and a good set of pads to go with it!
  19. The pad may even have come loose from its backing plate... Ford will soon find out whats up with it!
  20. Your right in thinking a set of decent speakers running from a amp... best way of doing it!
  21. You sure its not the ABS kicking in! I get this on my street, there is a man hole cover right before the speed bump, so when i brake for the speed bump and hit the man hole cover, the abs kicks in
  22. Mine is a titanium and it has the pocket... well not anymore, there is a set of turbo pods there :D
