erm... tyres not gripping the road?

Alright all, Right, ive just got my hands on a set of ST Turbo Dials (cheers Dave, can tell you had fun wrapping them, look me 20 min to get them outta the wrapping) Anyway, i know the turbo part wont work on my car, as its a 2.0L petrol, but the other two dials should work (oil temp & oil pressure) Anyone got any idea on how to get these to work, i mean there should already be a sensor for the oil temp somewhere, as it will be measured on the ECU somewhere! Also, i would like the back lights to work, any one have any idea which wires are for the lights? Cheers James

Aye i had the same problem... The dealer i got my car from has now closed down, and my local dealer just wants money from me.... My bonnet lock broke, and its still under warrenty, and they said to me that it was a ware and tare item, which i will be charged for parts and labor.... Managed to get it sorted by the servicing department at the dealer i got the car from, but that is soon to be closed also....

Aye i understand what your saying Pete, i was told exactly the same, but when i was reading the manual i found this:
-
It is interesting that whizzpopper advise drivers to apply the handbrake without pressing the release button. When I learnt to drive (quite a few years ago I admit), I was advised to press the release button when applying the handbrake, both to avoid the 'click, click, click' noise but moreso to prevent wear on the ratchet mechanism. Pete You do realise the focus is the same dont you... page 140 in the owners manaul says: "Do NOT press the release button while pulling the lever up"

Possible to add an extra seatbelt in the back?
Jamz replied to gmidgley's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
I doubt you will be able to change it though, as the car will be listed as a 4 seater on the DVLA and Insurance companes computers
