    Mine did this for a while. All I did was open the boot and then re-open the car. Seemed to reset the locks.

    ok got the 09 facelift lamps today. Is it just the bulb holders that need slightly modded to get them to fit the 09 holes and obviously a quick bulb change from clear to red?

    Always park in gear. :wink: I never trust the handbrake.

    The latch on my MK2 was black. Turn the stereo upside down and push the latch down and away from the stereo. It doesn't move far but the harness should come away.

    There's a 12v socket in the estate I'm sure. Don't think the hatch has one though.

    I suppose it dealer dependant but the VX dealer I used couldn't run a bath nevermind a dealership. I bought my Ghia from Halshaws and they really do cut corners with servicing valeting etc. Really is shocking.

    Am I right in thinking the non-led facelifts are a straight swap?

    I think the MK2.5 look odd without them. Colour-coded mouldings look ace.

    Hairdryer to soften the glue, then a credit card to prise them off, then use a pencil rubber to take off the glue.

    I de-badged my Ghia but kept the side 'ghia shields' on the door pillar. 8)

    Don't feel, get your head under there, can't miss them if they're fitted.

    Yeah can't stand me green dials. Which I could solder and change them to blue. :x
