guys your genius's! wedged some cardboard in between went for a run and it was silent :D now just need ford to repair more permanently

well if indeed the wheel arch is the cause of the noise i think i may have found it by tapping away at the plastic liner, there are parts where it meets the metal, and i suppose that at speeds above 50mph the wind could cause this to rattle and to vibrate through into the cabin. i have wedged some small pieces of cardboard between the liner and the metal which deadens the rattling, a bit later im going to go for a run in the car up the dual carridgeway. whether or not the noise goes after this im still taking it to ford as it shouldnt be doing it :naughty

im pretty convinced your right now guys, the liner did feel a bit flappy and i could find the section where it touched bare metal, might try wedging it with something soft as suggested, shouldn't fraud pay for this though :?

well cars still less than 6 months old and i appear to have found an annoying rattle. it appears to eminate from within the dash inside the section above the glove box and behind the passenger airbag, a few thumps have made no difference but what is strange is the rattle only appears to happen at the following speed 60mph or above, regardless of road conditions or speed below that it never happens :shock: now i dunno if its worth getting ford to look because they might need to have the whole dash off but what do you reckon :(

i can never get my sunglasses to sit propery in mine :lol: it never shuts proper, imho it should have been by the courtesey light not where the old grab handle was

well handle mate however i would be sending them a bill for the Bumper and requesting the first service FREE not at cost :D

every car i have ever known has done it so far as i can recall mate from my mum and dads nissan sunny to my Focus MK1.5 so i think its just preassure :D

redadair i believe you will find that the latest software updates from nokia will fix that problem with the N95 i had to join mine manualy type *#0000# to get your software version number if its below 2.0 i strongly suggest you update :D

Hi Mike i have the ICE Pack in my car which includes a sony MP3 head unit and advanced bluetooth voice control, does yours come with voice control? i would say if it does and you are happy with your phone, just store your most used numbers in the voice control, you can then just speak to the car which number you want to call, i have my main numbers stored in, as its not really safe to use the phonebook option while driving :wink: FYI the bluetooth module in the car is actually made by nokia it seems to be pretty good but i had some teething problems with my N95 so if you are thinking of

i think most of the dash cleaning products are ok, depends on the finish matt or gloss, i like the armourall dash wipes very handy and disposable :D

one of the guys who has fitted one of the kits will no doubt post in the morning Sai and one of the folks with good Auto'lectrics knowledge should have an idea too sorry i wasnt much help :(
