  1. OK. I need to scan it in first as I only have a paper copy at the moment. Can you PM me with your e-mail address so I can send it to you. Andy
  2. If you Private Message me with your e-mail address I can send you a listing that I was given. Andy
  3. Have you taken this up with Ford Customer service? With the amount of EGR valves you have had there must be a case for your car to investigated more thoroughly by someone from Ford :!:
  4. Had this done to ours when C-Max was about 18 months old. Been fine since.
  5. Maybe. Could just be that there is Oil on the screen. Give it a clean with white spirit. Then clean glass with glass cleaner including the blades.
  6. This is correct. Having the AC on is the quickest way to demist the screen.
  7. Yes. Once the screen is fitted you just need am auto electrcian to wire it up.
  8. The Ford bars attach to these threaded holes. I have been using the Ford bars for a couple of years now. Cost arround £80 and are easy to fit & remove. Also they do not create to much wind noise. Andy
  9. Not good :( Sounds like the alternator may be at fault  I hate this so called 'Smart' charging system. OK it may get the extra odd MPG but the system keeps going wrong  I do not think that changing the alternator so often is very GREEN :!:
  10. Apparently, nitrogen does not leak out like normal air so does not need constant checking like other tires do. Sadly, only the near side has the nitrogen but is a good choice for the spare. A friend of mine who works for BMW is sure that when the next gen of run-flat tires is introduced, it might mean the long term end of air filled tires. The new run flats have strengthened side walls to prevent them distorting as they go around corners. Almost solid again ! This might be wrong, but I think that F1 teams use nitrogen because the tyre pressure does not change due to heat & cold.
  11. If the C-Max had normal charging I would say that the alternator is faulty. But as the C-Max has so called 'Smart' charging I am not so sure. It could be that the battery is faulty and that the Smart charging system is shutting down as it has detected a problem. As car is out of warranty I would take it to a battery specialist who can quickly check the battery. I had a quote for arround £60 for a new battery when ours went flat, but battery was 105% according to the Bosch battery checker. Make sure you get the correct battery type. Calcium I beleive :!: If battery OK you will nee
  12. Most likley reason that the battery is still working in the Mondeo is because that car has a standard good old fashioned reliable alternator :D So if battery not 100% OK the mondeo does not mind. But put same battery in C-Max and the smart charging system gets all upset
  13. It is time to replace the Marshalls :( They have done 18,000 miles and are now down to just above tread wear indicator all round. Strange thing is that 1 rear tyre has about 3mm left all over, but other is much lower. Strange seeing that they were fitted all at the same time! But for £165 for 4 tyres inc vat etc they have been very good tyres  I am having 4 Kumhos fitted on Friday at just under £200 inc vat at our local tyre place. I am going for Kumhos as none of the local dealers sell Marshalls and we moved house last year so the tyre dealer that sold me my Marshalls is now
  14. I used this chap http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/f-Aerotwin-Wiper- ... dZViewItem Blades cost £14.49 delivered. Very easy to fit as well. A few weeks back when I was in the local http://www.gsfcarparts.com/ shop the chap there mentioned that they now do refills for Bosch Aero Twins. Think the cost was about £9. Not mentioned on web site though. I will ask next time I go as I need to get the service parts for my Kangoo Van shortly. Andy
  15. Best I have done is 59MPG on the M25. This involved some slow stop start traffic and some spells at about 80MPH with some spirited driving for the last 25 miles on country roads. With light traffic and a light foot 65MPG would not be a problem :D
  16. Thought it was 100,000 miles or 10 years. Maybe they meant 150,000 Km's.
  17. Know how you feel. My wife did the same in a car park  To busy chatting to my mum :? New door had to be fitted :(
  18. Ours does a 20 mile round trip most days that does not envolve getting over 45 MPH and rush hour traffic jams but the 1.6TDCI still does 47MPG :) On a recent long run at between 60 & 75 MPH with some stop start driving due to being on the M25 :( I managed 59 MPG
  19. Sounds like you may have. I think I would put some more diesel in to dilute the petrol further. Fingers crossed.
  20. Ask Ford how much they want for just the aerial, Ford parts are not normally to bad. Or try your local independant car audio shop as they will most likley have something that will suit the C-Max. I would not worry about it being the same. As long as it is black no one will ever notice it is not a Ford one and it will just as well or maybe better!
  21. First thing I would do is check that the areial is tight as if it is NOT getting a good earth MW reception is effected. Should just be a case of removing the interior lamp and tightening up the nut. If this fails to sort it I would take it to a decent car audio centre who can soon find out what the problem is. If near Guildford Surrey I can sort this for you. Andy
  22. When you checked the pads did you look at the inner pads as well as the outer ones? I made this mistake on my van. Outer pads had 3mm and inner had 0mm
  23. I would imagine that if you remove the interior lamp you will see the base of the aerial. If so it is most likley a simply case of undoing the nut and swapping the base & mast. Other wise take the car to a decent Car Audio place as they can swap the Ford one for an after market one. Probably less than half the cost and just as good if not better.
  24. May be worth searching to see if there is a thread about replacing the pollen filter as I believe that you have to remove the glovebox to change that.
