Newbie, now purchased and has very green questions
bhalay207 replied to tanchoboy's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
it'll be a MK2.5. Ford did a 'fairwell' version of the MK2.5 that included, ST style 16" wheels, Satnav, Bluetooth, Auto lights & Wipers, Auto dimming rear view mirror, reversing sensors, and the titanium interior. Fortunatley for people who are wanting a bargain in a few months time, i certain rental car company i work with have got hundreds on the fleet 8) -
slayingfocus, exactly. People think that a diesel will be economical even when being booted. Its just not the case!

doubtful but i could be wrong

i have the 1.8 TDCI 115bhp on the mk2 shape. I'm getting around 42mpg, but i drive 30miles a day so its ideal. I usually get 450miles to a tank. £115 for a year to tax and no DPF!!! The torque that its got is fantastic. Its safe to say that i will never drive a petrol again, and this is my first diesel!

New Mk3 Focus Estate Titanium 1.6 (125) Powershift.....
bhalay207 replied to Minsterman's topic in MK3 - Ford Focus
i'm surprised at your thoughts on the handling - every car review says it isn't as good as the mk2!? -
A 6mm pilot hole and a hacksaw!?
-
nice one - be sure to post pics when you have the said beast!

jbeer, were you a potential customer or just a test pilot. As a former car salesman people who used to waste my time were the most annoying type of people, not to mention taking me away from potential sales, and potentially losing money. On another note, everybody mentioned this when the mk2 came out so i'm sure people will change their mind in time!

,y mk1.5 was 100k before i get rid. At the end of the day, any car can go wrong at anytime, so imo its unfair to label ford. My mk2 is alot better than my mk1.5, yes the build quality doesn't seem as tight, but i'm more than impressed with it. If my mk2 lasts to a 100k miles before it needs work doing, then i'll be more than happy, at least the finance will be finshed by the time it gets to that mileage

how much!!!!
