  1. i was from the broker, but i went to ford and got it in 3 days, brand new :-)
  2. there really easy to find, just stick you head under
  3. Well had a MAXPOWER day  , i didnt like the look of the nasty yellow sidelights on the car so swopped them for some jazzy xenon style LED lights removing the bulbs requires the whole light unit to be removed :doublesho heres the bulb my old bulbs my new LED bulbs So after getting the bug i set about cutting some holes in the roof linning :doublesho this was to fit a set of vanity mirror lights that ford seemed to dislike fitting the the ST's lol in bits :doublesho and nearly done DONE :thumb: i know its probably of no interest
  4. i personally would get a bank loan for the difference and shop around for the st, ps do not buy it from buymynewcar
  5. well if my experience is anything to go by then you are right to be cautious, ps it was my first and last try at a net broker
  6. yeh, it does seem a bit odd, i really dont know what to do now, they really do suck, i may just ned up taking them to small claims court
  7. credit card, but as i paid it way back in october my CC company says they cant get it back (as its over 3 months ago !!!!!) im not happy, at least an 8 month wait and no car, then loose £500 :?
  8. anyone got one yet ?, i cancelled my order and now they wont even give me the £250 back of the £500 i gave them, Do avoid this comapny like the plague
  9. mine is ok, a dent man could get it out for you, a stupid renault mechanic did it to my 182, but i managed to push it out myself
  10. mine are protected in white grease , are yours not protected ?
  11. i find if you buy them at the right price and buy the right car i dont tend to loose to much, were as a friend bought a new mg z something or other for 14k, and just over a year later sold it for 4.6k, i havnt lost that over my last 6 cars :D
  12. personally i just get bored easy, and have done with every car i have owned, so i dont see why the ST will fare any better
  13. cars rarely last over a year in the BLUE household
  14. there is a fault on the pipe that joins the two bottle together, but no fix as yet, you can put some silicone around it and dont fill it up to much
  15. yeh i too know its fords fault at not supplying them, but in a way i cant blame them as they got people wanting to pay full whack for them so why give themaway for 2-3k less, my issue with the brokers is they have not been honest with me and knowing they cant supply within the time frame agreed should offer me a full no quibble refund, for just £500 my particular broker is going to loose itself more business than that from bad feedback from me alone
  16. adivsed me to send a letter giving them 2 weeks to supply me a car (sent via recorded delivery), mentioning the sales of good act, they havnt so now i have given them 5 days to give me a full refund, we will see what happens then i tried to claim back on my credit card but as its past 3 months i cant :-(, so if they dont pay up after this i will go to small claims court
  17. mine is buymynewcar , but they sound very alike with there customer service
  18. this is probably the same fault as mentioned elswhere, if it is then the washer bottle is cut into two, and there is a join beteween them and a pipe, its this pipe that leaks apperently, no known fix yet, but alot of silicon is supposed to fix it
  19. try here folks http://www.bbc.co.uk/consumer/tv_and_radio/watchdog/
  20. i cancelled mine to, and im trying to get my full deposit back under 'the supply of goods and serivces act (as ammended 1982) ', i also got advice from the dti (consumer direct) and the CAB which broker is yours ?, perhaps we ought to contact Watchdog ?
