It seems that your motor is pulling better, but is it just the induction roar fooling you?? Will be interested to here your views!!

I have noticed the same problem with the hand brake, it's really poor. It is highlighted even more as I currently have a fiesta ( focus in body shop) which hand brake is very very good. Was planning to metion this when car goes in for its first service this week.

Sent my 3 dr focus zetec (red) into my local ford body shop on thursday, to have door rubs colour coded, front fog lights, tailgate handle, Ms design kit fitted. Car was to be ready today at 5pm. 4pm called with a problem, They have lost my spoiler!!!! They took it of to fit the MS design one over it, and its missing!!! How does a 3 foot spolier go missing?? I think if i checked the spoliers of the red focus, owned by staff from my dealership I would find it. So I have to put up with a fiesta all weekend, with no arm rest (really miss & CD controls)

****Mate I would not recommend having the windscreen replaced.********** Ford do not do any glass replacement. Done by Auto Glass. I have used these guys twice. Both times complete mess. 1st My fiesta had its window broken, They replaced but is had bad marks. Second was ok however they broke the trim and it rattled for the next two years. My new focus had a damaged rear screen, heated elements did not work. They replaced. To cut a long story short I have had 3 in. My rear trim rattles like mad (really really bad). Ford will not fix as it's a auto glass problem. Auto glass don't give a S*

Come on lads :lol: . You need to give your motor a bit more TLC than that. Mine gets washed every 3 - 4 days and a good steam clean inside every 2 weeks. Drop of wax every two weeks also. Lads if you want any cleaning tips am your man. I must have every type of wax, polish and sealent. tyre gel, glass cleaner. Saying that just got the new auto glym life shine kit (protects paint for 10 years) however not had enought time to apply, have to buff paint first.

lads how about this aux heater thing that your model has would it not be it coming on.

thanks knocker1. You hit the nail on the head. Took my motor back to the same spot and remote locking would not work. had a good look around and found the house next door had a huge cb radio mast. This must be the problem. I would never had though of that. cheers again

Hi guys, need a little advice. Have mar 2005 focus zetec. The other day I came out of work and my car opened fine. I drove home & my remote locking would not work at all. It stayed like this until I went and fitted a new a battery that night. Worked ok, which is funny as the owners book states when the battery is low the distance will start to shorten & A warning comes up in the message center. Neither happened. its a good few pages back so some of you well not be aware, but this is about the footwell lights found in the top ghia model. In the ghia there is footwell lights, but it seems the fitting are already in most cars, only ford just does not put the blubs in. yes the very last line is wavy. what ever you do do not get the rear screen replaced. i have had four (only Problem) and problems ever since. When i purhase my car i noticed two of the elements had breaks and did not work. so i when to my dealership who arranged for autoglass to replace it, with a brand new unit. I am 99% sure you can get white strips on the orange st. This statement was made in last months fast ford mag, who when on to say most orange do not have them, however it is an option & they seen one & liked them.

You know your self your dealer will cut your part x value, by a large & unfair amount. Why not try a few good non ford body shops in your area & compare with what your dealership will charge to repair. You will have to buy the wing mirror of ford. However the new focus wing mirrors can be ordered in your colour. They do not need colour coded. Read about this new method ford have started on mirrors & bumbers. When waiting in my own dealership for a quote for the add on spoiler. armed with these quotes, take a drive to another ford dealership & get a part ex value. Then you

hi mate, i got a 3dr 3/2005 red 100bhp zetec (1075 miles) from my dealer. cost £10295 ex demo.
