Guys and Gals As part of the telephone pre equip pack we are supposed to have a different areial. I have doubts as to whether we do and was wondering if those of you who like playing with your cameras and photobucket would mind taking a few shots of your aerials (base of it as well) so that I can compare. Actually - does anyone have the same fuel problem as us - i.e the fuel gague never reads above 1/4 full and thus te warning light comes on all the time? Or are you just getting the fuel light on as and when it feels like it? C

Cool - I am glad you like it. The thing about that EPB is that you pull the level up to put it on and push it down to turn it off. Personally I would rather not have it but for the MRs its great as she is only diddie we know the thing is on good and proper like :) THe other good thing about it is that if you take the key out of the ignition it comes on automatically. C

The re-programming is for the window memory - so it knows when its closed! Its explain somewhere in the manual. Was the compensation offered by the dealer or by FCRC I wonder? Interesting how your dealer can fix the fuel gauge problem - mine has been unable to do just that :) s for comments about being negative - so what? This is an open forum and people can say good or indeed bad things about the cars - a problem shared and all that. All Car went back Wednesday - phone kit kind of fixed - they have fitted it directly to gearbox houseing on drivers side - not ideal but frankly I am past caring and at least teh dealer have tried their best which is more than FMC who said,"You cannot have a car kit fitted to a six saoeed". They were also spose to fix the fuel gauge and I was told they had the yellow CD - but alas it has not been fixed. Why - I have not idea - I have tried callign them and no luck. On the PMG front - they said what I was getting low 30's was about right! I think not and I think CRC can now look intot h

Justice mate - you're joking! What total ***** - they just said get stuffed. You dared to challange them and they just said go away? Wow - what agreat advert for customer service mate. I would not let them deduct sweet f all for the milage - why should they? What about all the hassle you have suffered your time and effort, days off, your travel time and the fact you have to find a replacement? Chris Screw the dealership mate - go straight to Paul T. From there the FCRC will take over and get it sorted. Dealer has fixes for some of these things like the fuel so why have they not contacted you? As they say in School of Rock - Stick it to the MAN! C

thanks - they said that if they mounted it in the "Correct" place then when you pop it in reverse it knocks the phone out. I shall see what they do on Wednesday. Ford did say no to the 610 car kit mind you iti did cost a few quid. I like the idea of the mic in the middle - ours is currently by the drivers A pillar so lots of shouting is done. I have the AB disc and seems OK - mind you my road which was built ibn 1997 still has no house numbers on it! Cheers C

I didn't as min was priv, btu I was impressed with them. List price of my car with all the extras was 23600, drive the deal came in at 19900 and priv was 17,800. So there are sure savings to be had and it does cut out the hassle factor. WOuld be interested to know what dealer they put you in touch with? C

cheers all, I do not like to moan and there are loads of good things about the car, but the mpg is a little concerning. I will do the pickey :) test and see what happens. When we ordered teh car we orignally wanted teh 1.6 TDCI CTX but it was not about so the delaer "convinced me" to have the 2.0 TDCi. Emmm C

ours is back at the dealer on Wednesday to ahve the fuel gague/light thing and car phone kit corected. I did mention the bad mpg on our stage III 2.0 TDCi Ghia, we are currently getting under 30 and we have done 4000 miles. tanks - about 400 a tank and I am really not happy about it. Dealer said my mpg was about normal - so glad I paid the extra bubble for it heh. C

I am glad that Iam not the only one with the creek - wierd. I also buggered the temp display playing with the stalk, we had oF on the sat nav and kmh on the computer when I wanted oC and mph! I will try and find out how to fix it and come back to you all.

on the leg room front I noticed that too. OUt 2 and a half year old fits fine in her big seat, but the two week old in his car seat - well this touches the back of the passanger seat when a six footer is in there. C

OK - I was looking at the Nokia web site at the Nokia 610 bluetooth car phone handsfree kot and it is pirctured ina car (left hooker) which looks like a C-max - but is not. It looks like it has the same Denso sat nav and steering wheel and instument cluster biut waht car is it? Cheers all Craig and yes this sort of question did kill the cat :)
