They probably meant the FIRST service. This is no more than a look over - you dont get a stamp in the book or anything.

Doubt they would bother to change the oil to be honest - they would just check everything has bedded in as supposed to.

I got 450 miles from my first tank with another 45 ish left (according to the computer) - so cnt complain.

I'm sure I read somewhere that the new Foci had an option where the headlights stayed on for a period of time after exiting the car? Is that true? I have a Titanium but the lights shut off straight after swiching off. And why dont we get puddle lights like the equivilent model on the c-max??

I thought if you had ABS it had to have discs all round???

Mine are real sharp - MUCH better than those in my Mondeo ST TDCi

Got mine Friday. 2.0 TDCi Titanium with 17's and Sony 6 disk. Not bad but I think I prefer my Mondeo ST TDCi.

heh yeah as always - just thought tho - mines a titanium not ghia so it could be right.

I'm wishing I held back on ordering my new Focus now and waited till January - they would probably have offered me sod all for my Mondeo ST TDCi tho then. Next time me thinks - give them time to get rid of all the problems.

hmmm 3 weeks - that a new build or normal stock as I was told the stock they had was 'release' stock - which could be full of issues mentioned here previously.

What did you get instead? Am concerned the Focus titanium is gonna be a let down in comparison.

Well I've ordered a 2.0 TDCi Titanium today!!! Part-x'ed the Mondeo ST TDCi for it so I hope its good - payment is £100/month cheaper :)

Yeah but i only think the Ghia/Titaniums get this style of flat key - afaik the rest of the range get the old chubb gold style one.

so they dont have the same locks as the C-Max??? Ive had one of those but the spare was like the old style key but was flat and silver not chubb and goldish.

you cant swap the keys over coz its a totally different locking mechanism - more of a flat key on the ghia/titanium and the chubb type on the rest.

Think one other thing that tips my choice to titanium is the seats - I HATE that velour pap they use on the Ghia seats.

Yup - I've had about 10 priviledge cars - each having my old car part-x'd.

You will just get a crappier PX value then joe soap coming off the street as 'there isnt a lot in them' - my ar$e
