Let me give some input into this guys: I have posted couple of stories previously about my issues with Ford. Timbo1, i had all your problems and its taken 7 trips to Ford to get it fixed. Well to be more accurate 8 trips coz the last trip was to another garage who were able to trace the problems and fix em. Some garages are just worse than cowboys i think :shock: But then it dawned on me that my car which is a 06 had all these problems and for a new car its just not rite :x This is why i'm making it very clear this is my last Ford! Oh and for those that think ive gone mad this is my 2nd

Well i really dont see the point of them either bcos its the same as keeping the side lights on :? I only put them on if i'm leaving the car parked somewhere and i want to alert other drivers that the car is there...also if you put the parking lights on and open the door you wont hear the alarm that alerts you the lights are on

Ok guys i also have had the same problem and i know we're not the only ones :x My previous focus mk2 also had this prob and i took it to Fords who reset my computer ECU. Since then i never had a problem. I am now onto my 2nd MK2 and im having the exact same problem! :? I swear this is my last FORD! Anyhows i have booked into fords again so i will give you guys the heads up once i get her back

My creaking is all gone :) Ford applied some lubrication to the right part of the car and it just stopped! I also purchased this lubrication just incase i have this problem in the future!

What tyres would you recommend for the quiet ride and less bumps?

I think i had this problem with my old mk2. I didnt bother to get it fixed just changed my car :lol:

Will need to check but i remember removing mine out and the lid did not cause a problem....make sure all the screws are taken out. If you still have the prob let us know and ill check mine again. :)

Really sorry to hear this mate and i know what you've been thru. As you said this is also my last ford as i find their CR totally pointless. :evil:

well i was thinkin of putin mudflaps on mine but i also lowered it and i dont think the flaps will fit nemore (ford ones) :?
