Hi all, The theme for my car will be Black + Chrome, I'm in two minds to change my door handles from the standard matt black to either Colour coded version or Chrome ? - I dont want the car to look cheap nor chavvy with to much chrome bits! Anyone on here have a MK2 with chrome door handles? - Any pics? These handles are off european-parts.net and come from the Loder 1899 set. Not sure if they just stick over the current handles (which I wouldn't want) or completly replace the handles - anyone know? Thanks all!! B!

Bringing this post back up again, I finally had a chance to open my bonnet the other day and have a look whats been done in my 3rd service. Now I'm no expert but I did notice something different, this thing looked pretty shiney and stood out. After checking over some old photos of my engine bay I've noticed Ford must of forgot to re-fit the metal cover. This could be the extra £15 i paid for some type of filter to be cleaned??? Could this be it? With the cover - before service Cheers, B! -

Well it hit 30k the other week and was due for a service, I had a few problems with the car (minor things), frnt left door handle sticks, handbrake doesn't hold and creaking sound when turning the steering wheel. thankfully they fixed them all and didn't do the usual "sorry sir we couldn't find any problems" - they also had an 'offer' for £15 to clean something in the engine which will incrase mpg ?? no idea what it was, but that was done anyway. Only problem was my 4 tyres, I knew they needed changing but didn't know they where so bad, between 1-2mm thread left :? - no wonder i wasn't

bigbeere replied to inzor's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
darando, Thanks mate!!! Well, I searched high and low for those wheels and was no wayyy going to purhcase them from Ford as like you said, they are way to expensive! I found my current set of alloys on Ebay and won the auction for £400 inc. Sport Conti 2 Tyres! - was only 30 miles away from me, so I even picked them up! Well worth it!! At one point though mate, there were loads of those alloys on ebay, i just used to type ' Mondeo Titanium alloys' and they popped up! Cheers again, B!! -
