  1. Something with the receiver in the car? I think mine got a good soaking once and went funny for a few days then it corrected itself.
  2. Don't think this works on my 54 plate. MAybe manufatured prior to 2004 though
  3. I ONLY use the fairy on the windscreen and THOROUGHLY rinse it off!!!
  4. Get the fairy liquid out and de-grease your screen!!!
  5. Position 1 is the most sensitive. You might want to try it with a hosepipe!! Stand well back though!!
  6. Turkish dude had a long thread/photos about this too.
  7. Any links for piccies of the S-Max? I noticed on the REAL MADRID pitch hordings the other night they were advertising the S-MAX, just thought it was the spanish version of the c-max!!!
  8. It is about right price i'm afraid. I know in some english counties you could take the dmagaed wheel and photo evidence of the pothole that did it to the coucil and they might replace it. I'm sure the Irish government would soon go bust with all the potholes in the roads though!!
  9. Agreed. Private sale always a winner!
  10. It takes my heater the 12 minutes I drive to work to get hot!!!
  11. Did a wales trip from essex last week. Full of bike and kit. 50 MPG + on the motorway and great around the valleys!
  12. I have the internal one and it is ideal. Really effective and keeps bike nice and safe...once you have lumbered the ridiculously heavy seat out!! But as you need an external one I would suggest a rook mounted one. The boot mounted ones always are a pain when wanting access and often lead to the pedals scratching the boot in some way.
  13. I love my C-max and have had not trouble with it until noW!!!! I have had the EGR no power upon start up thing twice. Both times I managed to let it idle and after a while it cleared itself. Booked it today and dealer said they updated PCM something or other. Not sure if this will be a reoccuring problem but I will no doubt go a liitle more clued up thanks to the details expressed on this forum. Still love my Max though.....
  14. Handling has improved greatly. I cannot say I ever noticed a reduction in comfort.
  15. Yes. Bought the Eibach kit from Fords too.
  16. Thought I would post this pic of my lowered Ultima (again) seeing as we have lots of new Maxers in the forum!! ...and I do like to show it off!!!
  17. Thats right motorway pic for sure...metal coloured for sure.
  18. I seem to rememebr the fella from turkey showed a photo of one with them but I have never seen them in the uk. Why do you want them? The normal FORD roof bars are REALLY easy to take on/off with a bit of practise.
  19. Handbrake comes on when key is removed from ignition. Has to be manually disengaged when pulling away.....unlike the handbrake on the New disovery which manually disengages!!
  20. My deisel went into limp home mode the other day and the trip said 41 miles to go!!!!
  21. Weird. I've been thinking how reliable my c-max is...and how after 9 BRAND new cars in ten years of driving its about time I kept one for a long time.....the c-max fits that bill a treat!!! 30k and no problems other than baggy seat covers!! I did find myself being a bit of a hypocondriact for a while while reading this forum though!!!
  22. A 2000 Volvo is six years old!!! I would only consider it if you are better off financially!!
  23. Wow!! My 2.0 TDCI reads 480 at worst and 530 at best!!!
