Oh did u get ur rac to take the direct to the dealer from when ur steerin locked up?

it was too late, around 10pm when rac came

i was worried about the same thing, i dont mind the doors been unlocked but the boot should be closed since there is a button for it. i didnt understand the point in havin the boot unlock button.

Hi guys my mk2 1.6 running nicely till yesterday when drivin i noticed that my steering heavy so i stop and turned engine off & on again n it just locked up, was able to move i but was really hard. Opened the bonet and noticed there was no fluid (checked everything 2 days ago was all fine). Noticed fluid drippin under the car. Got RAC (the guy said there was bad joint) to tow the car home. any one else had this problem? What do i do now, do i just call ford (my dealer) and tell them? will they pick up the car and how long will it take to fix? cheers

it aint meant to go below 1000, thats like the car is stopped if u dont have it in gear or clutch down. dont think its a problem or maybe i missunderstood the question.

I got black Sport 1.6 it the immobiliser is on (flashin ) when engine is off and the mileage backlight goes off after 10-15 mins i think. mines the same dont worry! welcome to the sport family lol

Hey Sport Drivers, I got 1.6 done abt 2K miles only, economy aint that good but then i am comparing to 1.2 lol I dont have trip comp so cant work out mpg. i fill up £10 at a time. i put abt £20 on average a week, dont drive far often

i have aux button on my 55 plate sport, what connecters do i need? do i have to take anythin apart? lol please post pics of connection and ur setup Thanks
