Strange that the ESP is kicking in when driving straight? Sounds to me that the spin control strangled the engine power. I'ts the same button though and you need to hold it in for ca 3-4 sec before it cuts power. Seeing a Merc coming at high speeds don't give you much time. Since you where the first car of the two in the roundabout the Merc should have stopped for you. shouldn't it? :D

Thx guys, taht gives me some idea. Taken that the trade in mondeo has a fixed price I couldn't drive a cheaper car. Just 60k on the meter when signing the contract, 62 K now and running......The Km driven with the Mondeo is Km saved on the Foci :)

Got comfimation from the local car dealer that my Ghia estate is due to be build 7th July. Anyone knows if the car is built in one day and what happends next. Is the car ready to be shipped same day or is there any form of delay? Can't wait for the car to arrive Oslo

Looks like something happend to your car before you got it and some parts were resprayed. Dont look like a factory job, more like an afterjob. Maybe there is som paint dust on your windscreen giving the course feeling. If so the car must be painted after completion. I think the windscreen comes on after the factory paint job. The alcohol version of Focus you are mentioning are more friendly to the enviroment even if it burns more fuel. The clue is that the fuel is not fossil and to create more basis for more fuel the plants are using the co2 you are releasing. Thats not the case about fosil fuel, just adding more co2 to the world. Again the engine uses more alcohol because the energy stored in the fuel are not so high as ex petrol. That's the one (and only) thing i'd give Opel (whizzpopper?) For ages they had this panel to play with -showing all kinds of stuff. What if the screen was changed to a color LCD showing both navi instructions, radio, and maybe TV!. My wife probably kicked me out for never leaving the Foci

Anyone seen a option for chromed door handles og chrome stripe om the door protection list? I know the Titanium Mondeo has this and on a Panther Black this would be a killer!

Love the rims the ones yoy changed for the std sport. I also found out that the std Ghia rims (hopeless to clean) could be changed with no cost. I did go for the 6 spoke instead of the 5 spoke.

Thx for quick response there Minsterman I all makes sense now. The car i looked at had no autogear but satnav was installed. And the directions shows directly in front of you i clearly better than turning your neck each time to look at the color screen between the seats. I had hoped for though that the screen was active for the Ghia version without navi, maybe showing radio channels and so on.

I ordered my MK2 Ghia estate but are curious about the large LCD panel above the Trip LCD. Som models hade just a black plastic panel there but I saw an TDci Ghia who had the panel in use. The car had navi. Does anyone know what the LCD screen shows in addition to the small LCD and what models has this panel

Norwegian ones are packed with extras included! Waiting for my brand new Panther black Ghia estate. Onlye extras added are alu rails and light under the mirrors.
