  1. I do like the car - I just cannot stomach 5 years of Ford Dealers and Ford themselves. Its like owning and unlucky paior of pants - they may be the most comfortable and clean etc but you just want rid of them for the memories. Besides, I do not think FMC want to keep my custom for many years! So I shall sell, move on and go buy a beat up old estate and live the life of a Bangamonics man! So offers accepted! C
  2. Plym Chris i think its the reserve mate of X litres that does not show up. I can remember my dealer (when we were talking!) telling me that you can run the computer to zero and then you still have some juice left in the "idiots reserve!" I think Vitro was brave enough to run it dry and confirmed that. Also, if you have been booting it then the warning will be based upon your lead boot and not your normal nimble style of driving!! C

Have fun as far as I can tell and talking with the EO Ford DO NOT CARE about customer complaints/ They really do not - they have even withdrawn thier poxy voucher offer even though that was made without the normal "without prejudice" caveat so they are technically bollocked. We shall see - basically I am fed up - cant see whay I shoudl pay 120 quid to get my expenses paid. EO offered to pay for my expenses and then said they could pay the millage costs of it going back to the dealer 6 ti

  5. No pic yet - will do but I have been geting home in the dark so not much fun. Any yesterday was spent fishing Kandoos out of the drain and then phone proctor and gamble to moan that they do not flush and being told they would pay the bill in full. Look at that for customer service Mr Thomas :) :offtopic I know but 2.69 for wipes meant 150 quid in compensation so that what 60 ti,es the vaule? So Ford owe me 150k please. I'll take a cheque :rofl
  6. Funny thing, just called another household name becuase their product is not flushing!!!!!!! I needed to get drains cleared. They offered to pay the full bill 125 quid plus vat! no questions now thats customer service for you
  7. steamvalue I do not ever think I have said I do not like the car, nor do I think the others have. What I dislike is being used to test the car, being made to feel that my substaintial purchase means len all in terms of custoemr service and the amount of problems I have had with a breand new car and that they have taken so long to fix. As I said to the EO just the other day - even if you gave me my dosh back I would still buy a C-Max - I would just wait a few months for all the problems to be fixed. C

Thetwo probs you mrntion fo have fixes adn it appears to me from reading your mpost cmaxbckt aht you just have a * * * * of a dealer. THe fuel light is solved with a software update (or new fuel sender unit) and the hesitation is fixed with an update to your cars PCM thing .... so hoping that you r new dealer is actually awake then you are sorted. However - if I were you mate I would call the FCRC in Glasgow, ask for a MAnger and take no * * * * until you get one and tell em to contact the dealer that has it on Wednes

  10. our c-mas has a 12v in the boot - its a 2.0 ghia and its behind the side flaps that hold cans. Have a butchers there
  11. only downside of six speed is that you cannot have the mobile phone kit (Ford Version) as seen in all the brouchures as when yuo whack it in reverse the phoen gets knocked out!
