I can see SMT having issues with this comment, with ffoc being a family forum n that.... :shock: hence it being gone!!

Anyone come across a problem with the 1.6vct with unstable revs? when idleing the revs move between 600 and 1000 rpm, occassionally staling when on a flat road and out of gear. and even when driving you can feel under accelration the revs dropping and rising by about 100 revs also ive had a problem with the gears, approaching a junction moving down to 1st gear with clutch full down it either grinds, or has a weird crunching pulling sensation

just done my brake pads, £42 from busseys norwich and £20 fitting (next door neighbour, busseys mechanic!!) its done 37k now, gotta book it in 4 service as well

less then 2 years old this month, i bought it a year ago and it was about 9 months old now upto 37k, dealership sent me a reminder about service 2 weeks ago ;)

i pulled the ignition fuse in and out, and its been fine all day!, done about 100m its due for its 35k service so gonna book it in

ive just got home in my mk2 1.6 tivct. when i turned the engine off, the wipers stutter into life, the "left your lights on" alarm goes off, the hazards flash, the air con flickers and the ignition relay ticks. the remote locking dont work, but starting the engine stops it until u remove the key. ive removed the battery and reconnected it. no success

and it proberley wont be outside ur house tommorrow, is sounds way to dodgey

i think the intergrated heater controls are the climate control, so you would need a new servo system for controlling the heaters and the climate control panel. i might be wrong! ( i think this was asked before)

doesnt one of the sat nav options put directions into the extra dash lcd, e.g. left arrow right arrows

my problem is the friggin rear view mirror, straight in my line of sight as i look left!

doh, i should have taken the one of my festa ZS before those nice people at nationwide crash repairs towed it away for good ( i was run off the road into a ditch)

is it me or is the car leaning to the left in the 1st pic? apart from that, very nice, very shiny!

ive had a couple of niggles on my 05 sport ti-vct when cold starting, clutch full down it sometimes wont go into reverse, no grinding noise, just not going into gear as if there is a bar stopping the stick. also occasionally when drive going either from 2-3 or 4-5 it will grind even when the clutch is fully down, even changing slowly ensureing the clutch is down before moving the sitck ive had this back to abbeygate ford during a service, but they couldnt replicate it so said they couldnt do anything. anyone got any ideas?? i think the studio is pretty much just the basic chassis with a 1.4 engine, no head rests, unpainted trim eg bumpers and a non cd radio
