  1. You might need to check the instructions that came with the car seat, but once the mounting kit has been fitting and if the car seat works with isofix then its just clips in and the seat harmness goes round the baby. We never never used it with travel system and the seat belt was only just long enough to go round the seat. Once the lad was big enough we got a seat from mothercare with the isofix.
  2. Mine does it too - its also has issues going into 1st sometimes too.
  3. Timbo - I looked in the manual last night and it says that up-to 8 new can be programmed and gives desructions on how do it.
  4. It was a no-cost optional extra when I got mine from new. They are really handy - saves time putting the seatbealt round the seat.
  5. Hi Guys Got a couple of questions - When the car is idling - with nothing on, air con, radio etc... what should the instant fuel reading be? I know its not 100% true. I'm 99.9% sure that when I first got the car it was 1G/H and now its gone up to 2, it did go to 3 at the weekend but its back at 2 now. Also - I've been reading the info about keys and just wondered if this is right... I have two keys but I want to get a 3rd - So can I just get the blade cut purchase the remote bit from ebay and then reprogramme it? I would like to get a flip key, then give the 3button key to the girlfri
  6. Very nice dude - Is that a standard grill you have?
  7. sweet - Think I could manage that.
  8. Simlair thing happened to my mums MK1 - From memory something happened to the clutch and which pieced the brake fluid holder? When she came out to the use the car the brake pedal was rock solid and wouldn't move - The AA guy said the when the brake fluid is almost empty the handbrake light comes on when moving - Which neither of us knew.
  9. I was told about an hour - Mine is going in on Monday
  10. Sending the letters through to What Car and see if they can help.... Someone my mum works with had loads of problems with a brand new Jeep Cheroke and it spent more time in the garage then out of it and the dealers were unhelpful to say the least - Sent a letter into WhatCar and 2 weeks later they got a replacement car and a 2 free services.
  11. thanks for the replies.... I'm sure it happened the first couple of times I filled the car up, but it hasnt since then. I usually fill up and wait for the light to come on before re-filling. The cap doesn't always feel like its tightly done up, even when turned all way the round till it clicks. I think I'm being parnoid but sometimes the car feels really sluggish and the petrol goes goes really quick - usually between 3rd and 1/4 of a tank. My foot must get really heavy during those times.
  12. Hi Guys When removing the fuel cap to fill up the car should you be able to hear a hissing noise? Because I don't..... I had an Astra before and that used to hiss when the cap was removed. Like the pressure is escaping.....
  13. I used some dash cleaning stuff in my old car once and it caused the dash to reflect in the windscreen so bad it hard to see out of it.
