Guys, I have never had a "bodykit" before and was wondering where the best place to get it sprayed and fitted is? (Northamptonshire area is best for me) How long does the process take from start to finish and how much should I be expecting to pay? NOTE: I don't have a bodykit to put on or anything - just wondering really.

Yeah.. lots of questions on this now: 1) Can anyone confirm how factory fitted headlamp washers work? I have heard they operate with every 10 uses of the windscreen wash. But there's also people saying it works only when headlights are switched on. 2) Can the headlamp washers be fitted so they behave like factory fitted ones and not just the same as the windscreen washers? (helping not to empty the washer bottle so quickly) 3) Doesn't the wiring need to be changed on the headlamp plug so the xenon lights / manual headlamp levellers work as they should? (I am sure Tezza said the wiring ne

does that mean that everytime you use your windscreen washers it squirts your headlamps too? and what do you do for levelling?

side lights are only LED? That's a bit naff. I would have thought the whole cluster was LED's to give that BMW / Passat indicator kinda look.

stevep999, welcome along mate. Please could you do me a favour and take a picture of the switch you have to fold your mirrors in? A few of us are working on a powerfold mirror mod for the MK2 and it'd be much appreciated! But in answer to your questions I'd have a damn good read of the manual as most stuff for the Mk2 was in there (key programming etc)

I have an 07 Ghia and I don't have it. I think when they changed the dash boards in the Focus DURING the 07 plates the instant fuel option was added. I have a green dash and a square kind of stereo - the new ones have an orange/red dash colour with a rounded stereo. PS. My car was made in at the end of Feb 07 is that's any good to you.

Isn't this down to the air recirculation being reset? Example: have air recirculation and air con on when driving - then turn the engine off - start the engine again and you'll notice that only the air con light comes on and air recirc is cancelled. Maybe it happens everytime the car is turned off, even if the air recirc isn't on maybe it resets itself. I'll try this next time it's dark and I'm in the car.

Open the drivers door and look for the info plate. Part of the info on there is the paint code for your car.

I have some rattles from all over the place - when I get time I am gonna shove my mate in the passenger / rear seats and drive around on all the rough roads until he can sort it. But I have lived with it so far.

as far as I can tell (and I am no expert) the surround will fit a mk2 but the stereo has a surround on it...which doesn't look like it's the same shape - maybe the stereo you have pictured isn't from a focus? Maybe an S-Max or C-Max or similar? I'd suggest you keep an eye out for a focus stereo to fit the surround.

The cradle was for the old nokia mobiles. (model 6210 I think) Plug it in and it used to charge the phone at the same time too. Now-a-days the advanced bluetooth hands free kit is the best option for phones that have bluetooth as you can keep your phone in your pocket and not have any kit on show.

Also, the Mondeo has a seperate clock in the cabin - so the radio doesn't display the time. cool_dood01, that stereo lights up red (and it won't fit with your current stereo surround) and not green, which is one reason why I haven't fitted it :)
