whats decent? :D I want to lower the car but I dont want to find myself needing coilovers in the future since im wasting money essentially. I know its a broad subject but what exactly will be the advantage of eibach coils against some eibach shocks + springs? Is the potential gain much better?

Morning all! Is there any problems with this apart from obviously not knowing your speed? It would only be down to the post office. By dial cluster I mean basically the dash unit that contains all your dials and whatever. I am sending it away to be worked on and I kinda need to be able to get to the post office and havent got another vehicle until tomorrow. Thanks a bunch :)

yea newcott is right, the sound will be much better and clearer because the standard speakers are pretty good and the headunit lets them down. Its very highly advised!

You really dont need one. There is a manual posted up here somewhere. Plus its very easy!

Well yea that's what I was told, some people dont have the sealant and in that case its a * * * * easy job for anyone on their own. But I did and it was a total pain in the * * * * simply because of sealant.

I have mine in red because all over the car im going for a 90% blue 10% red theme :p little bits of red here and there. Working on a full interior light conversion but its gonna take a while.

Ive done mine but you have to be careful, my old spoiler was glued down with some sealant which after 4 months of weathering has finally been worn enough so that it comes off without scratching the car. Though in the process of getting the old spoiler off, I got a few scratches breaking the sealant. I am glad I have done it since it keeps the line of the car better but the black strip I have had on top of my car has not been worth it at all. I will have to get the area resprayed to totally hide it.

not the best place to advertise them :D seriously! I put them in the oven at 80 but just in case I used a thermometer and it was sitting at 110 and 80 is the lowest without it going off (fan assisted oven). I just took off every piece I didn't need that wasn't too difficult to remove then put it in the oven keeping the door open (was about 83 with door open) for 15 mins as said. Got it out and I could feel a tiny bit more play in the seal so I used a flat head screwdriver to "score" all the way around and I I felt much more play in the casing and I managed to bring it out about 1cm ish on one

Meh...broke the seal mostly all the way around but it was just too tough around the corners and so on and I just couldn't pry them apart on my own mainly I think due to the hard plastic pins. I am gonna ask around to see if any garages would have a go but living in north wales I think im quite limited. Oh well...

AFAIK the Focus MK2 Zetec dash lights are green ScottyGhia but I am sending my instrument cluster thingybob to crazyleds and they are gonna swap all the smd leds to ultra bright white smd leds so I get a really nice effect. White in the day and blue in the night cant wait for it all to get done :). Yea Naomi is great :)
