Anto, cant say i agree with that... the mk2 all comes with a crappy black plastic thing... the mk2.5's come with pretty much the same spoiler on the mk2's (comes over the lights instead) but these are now colourcoded.... cant really call these a spoiler :lol:

Do you have the heaters/ac/lights/fans on while its idleing... with in being winter, i would assume so... This happens especially when you have some of the above on, as it causes a lot of strain on the battery/alternator/engine

Not all zetecs have the sports suspension... the suspension is a little stiffer, but i never noticed it TBH.

Sitting at about 70mph in the 2.0, im usually getting around 3k (maybe a bit less, will let you know on the way home) Can get 40MPG on the motorway easily sitting at just 65-70

Ive got the 2.0, love it... currently running 156bhp with a piper cat back exhaust and a K&N Panel filter (dont like induction kits, as they suck in hot air) Like has been said... I'd keep an eye out for a 2.0L as you can pick these up for the same price as a 1.8. You dont really need to upgrade the sparkplugs and things as they dont really do much on standard non turbo cars If you get the 2.0, you cant get ht leads for them, as each spark plug has its own coil. Double din stereo = good buy... if you manage to get a focus with the ice pack, you dont really need to upgrade the speak

Ouch... the only problem with black cars... they never stay clean for long

The paint will be fine if you keep on top of everything... make sure you dry the bottom of the doors and everything when you wash it, and you'll keep it rust free ;)
