  1. Can someone clarify what EPB stands for please ? :?
  2. Incidentally, my dealer promised me he will be raising the issue for the focus (which I drive) in the "Ford of Europe" annual After-Sales meeting due in November and in which he is participating. May I encourage you folks to push your respective dealers likewise ...
  3. Does this mean that the TSB replacement seals WHICH ARE SUPPOSED TO CURE THE ISSUE also do not work ?  There was a posting somewhere of this C-MAX TSB with actual replacement part numbers specifically to resolve this issue !! Can you double check the part numbers used as replacement with the dealer? Sorry mate had a quick look around but did not actually come across the posting which showed the part numbers, though I'm sure they are published somewhere ... :?
  4. Sorry Colin on both counts. Wind through driver's door is new news to me (I drive a Focus not a C-Max but follow C-Max posts as well). Welcome to the creaking seals club  sorry to give you the news but no effective permanent solution has been made known to me. Am currently in contact with my dealers (again) on the matter. As you said this simply is a design fault. Let's hope Ford acknowledge this and provide us with a resolution once and for all. This was the first time I bought a Ford. Its otherwise a great car, but unless I see a resolution soon enough for this creaking doo
  5. Please note ALL doors and boot unlock - not just drivers door and boot.
  6. Magic, by any chance would you still have a photo with the badged "Ghia" on ? Mine is an actual Ghia and never had the badge on it (other than on the two rear quarter window frames). Would like to see how it would look with the "Ghia" badge on the hatch. :) Cheers.
  7. OK, thanks for clarification folks. From the GIF provided by foxyfocus it seems all 3 pedals are adjustable (probably together ?). Was trying to see whether the brake pedal can be adjusted DOWNWARD by itself actually. I find the "lift" required from the accelerator pedal to the brake pedal to be annoying on the standard factory setting. Actually initially many times I hit the brake pedal from the side during lift-off to put my foot on the brake, and didn't quite put my foot on the brake pedal as I would have liked - quite dangerous - at least with my foot standard driving position.
  8. Have been reading in some posts about "adjustable pedals". Excuse my ignorance on this subject  ... can someone please explain what this feature does exactly ? And which pedals are adjustable ?
  9. Haven't heard of any other power steering problems so far. Sorry mate - really hope this is a one-off and you will not encounter it again. Am not that technical, but "lots of full lock steering" would tend to get me suspect. Maybe a more technical person can give us some insight on this ?
  10. Jag, Would the wiring for an integrated indicator wing mirror already be in place, or is easy to do ? Am assuming you already made some research on the subject :D Would personally be keen on these :P
  11. Have same problem as Dreamweaver i.e. it does not come back to the volume I last left it. Mine is fixed at 5 by default on switch-on. Unfortunately the TA indication you mentioned did not work in my case Tony - still thanks for the suggestion. Holding down the TA button does bring up the TA volume indicated as +5 but the navigation buttons go dead at that stage. Would also be interested in a solution to this if anyone can guide us further.
  12. Yes, the floor  I have a TiVCT Ghia and Sorry no Right side footrest and an extremely poor imitation of a footrest on the left. More like a pimple height projection from the floor underneath the carpet. I love my Ghia but the left footrest is one of the very few missing "necessities". Shame.
  13. Noticed you put on Seat Covers. Haven't you lost your side air-bags protection now?
  14. Guys, do not wish to re-insist with a previous post I made, but I feel guilty if I do not mention that I am still enjoying a "temporary" full month fix, simply by cleaning with plain water both all round rubber including "felt" top seal, PLUS corresponding contact chassis, letting both dry well and applying a simple car WAX to the body. Car is dirty now, but still no creaks! I owe this result from a tip by BeanCounter. Short of a permanent fix which we all would like and expect, why remain frustrated for some minor effort. It worked beutifully for me hope it works in your cases too !
  15. Goeff, It is indeed silicone based. The following link kindly provided by smjohns in the "Window seals" post. http://www.wynns.uk.com/contextra/documents/Dry Lube.pdf Copy and paste this link into your browser as it does not seem to paste properly in this post
