Sorry for being lazy on my part, I had mine supplied and fitted at my local Ford dealer for £60 :D Maybe because I forked out 13k for the car only 3 weeks ago offset the cost of the flaps.

Thanks mate (hope you enjoy your new Ghia). Does your car have a small dome shaped sensor in the middle of the dash, almost up against the windscreen? If so, I have a sneaky feeling that could be the light sensor? But I'm not sure, so I'm hoping some techy from Ford might be able to help... :P 8) I'll look in the morning and let you know.

Don't know where it plugs in, It sits above the rear view mirror, there is a cable running down from the roof space, I think it houses the rain sensor for the automatic wipers too. Only got my Ghia yesterday so still finding things out. :D

I get the impression it's through driving where the fluid loss appears, therefore when stationary, the fluid doesn't leak out so no there isn't a pool of water by the front wheel.. Am I right??

Am I missing something here, are we talking petrol or diesel, mine has started first time every time for the last 12 months I've had it (Diesel BTW)

I assume that your warranty isn't affected as they have been fitted at a ford dealers???

Were they easy to swap over, I am getting my 2.0 Litre TDCi Ghia in a couple of weeks, like the look of them, my (walnut) stereo surround will be going as soon as it arrives.

The Zetec Climate I am selling HAS steering modes and it is a March 05 TDCi.

Thanks for the info guys and gals, I have been my local dealer and bought from Ford Direct a: July 06 2.0l TDCi Ghia in Sea Grey with the Sony Head unit, Advanced Bluetooth and Park Assist already fitted, 6500 miles on the clock. Should get it in 2 weeks. :D Thanks again.

Hi, I am in the process of changing from my 1.6 TDCi Zetec Climate Hatchback to either the Ghia or Titanium 2.0 TDCi hatchback, I've only managed to get my hands on a 2.0 TDCi Ghia estate to get a feel for the engine performance difference. I felt the car rolled around the winding roads a bit, guess that's because it's an estate, would like to know how other drivers find how the Ghia or Titanium handles on the road. I'm asking cos my current car has sports suspension which the Ghia and Titanium don't as standard????? Andy.

I have only seen a new Fieta Studio on the road, that was in that very girlie purple colour. :shock: Never seen a Focus one though.

Yeah, mine gets really hot too, no issues with jumping discs or anything though. :)

Do the ramps go round bends or just straight up, I think the surface on some of these ramps is to blame, I've noticed the same in different cars I've been in on the same ramps.

If that happens does that mean a whole new wiper arm, bad design if that's the case, bought myself a new rear blade from that friendly high street motor/cycle store and it doesn't fit, looks like the clip on the wiper arm is a bit dodgy, any thoughts??

Yeah, I have mine in the same place, think it's crazy in the middle of the dash, at least if its on the drivers side, it's only a glance like looking in the wing mirror.

Sure is as I have been on a couple, however I am now on a Trafalgar class I work in the shipyard in Barrow-in-Furness, home of the RN Submarine.

Yup, accessories linked to the Ford Audio equipment, Tezza provided me with some useful info whenI was looking for the Sony MP3 head unit. Could do with some info on the surrounds for these units, my Zetec Climate currently has a silver one, I've seen info about other colours but can't remember where on this forum. :? :?:
