Car Service Is it Worth It
menzies26 replied to vantheman1blue's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
Other option is to take it to an indenpendent garage proberly will affect you warranty but will still keep the service history for a fraction of the price. Mine only goes to Ford as I got a service deal when I got it, the warranty isn't an issue think the only thing still covered is the seats  -
Doubt very much that I can make this I think that I will be away working at that time. :(
-
A quick reminder to those with rear discs remeber to press the brake when appling the handbrake. I have heard of quite a few mk 2 rolling down hills and Ford recomended that the brakes should be pressed while putting the handbrake on.

Even though its collection only could you not arrange for a courier firm to collect them. -
Nooooo why couldn't you have done that a few weeks before just shelled out for a new set for my Focus £36 in halfrauds.

Never noticed any different gaps, would say get it back to the dealer if the gaps are different, get them to sort it.

Toyo are great tyres I am currently running them on my ST and can't say that I have had any moments when I could have been doing with more grip.

Looks a bit like the new mondeo from the front

Make them your self the originals are clear with blue sprayed over it to. Just sand back the blue paint with some wet & dry and spray to the colour you want. Have done that with mine they are now black, will try and get some pictures tomorrow and post them up.

The auto leveling uses sensors that have to fitted not sure where, but would guess back and front. The motors for leveling are built into the headlight unit. Could be expensive to pick up all the required bits and would certainly take a lot of work to fit.

I would be intrested not to bothered about location but timings could be a problem for me due to job. In merchant navy so spend months away at a time. Will deffo g though if at home at the time.

Would get a better response if you posted in your region mate. -
The rattle could be a spring in the cluth, there has been a few reports of this in the ST. Not sure if it could be the same problem with your car but its an idea to pass onto the dealer.

Found the post that I had seen before on focusstoc.com The parts that you need are the arm is 1434059 the blade is 1404802 Sorry no prices on there but can't imagine it will cost to much
-
I saw somewhere that you have to replace the arm as well as the blade can't remember where but will see if I can find it again.

brakes nightmare (self inflicted of course)
menzies26 replied to jayt's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
As far as I know you don't need any special tools to bleed the brakes through. -
