  1. obviously you have to be careful to get the right one and not the one with 3 hols at the bottom for the heating controls as yours is all one section. i have just had a look for one because i want to try something with but theres none on there from what i can see.
  2. ive just read your original post and my message makes it look as if i didn't reasd yours in the first place which i thought i did lol, sorry. let us know how much you can get them sprayed for though, i'd like to know
  3. yeah i know what you mean mate. if someone could take that image of the sticker and edit it to show what all the codes mean that would be helpful to loads of people
  4. i wouldnt put the st badge on it to try and make it something its not, i just like the look of it. but if youve seen it then it must be possible, cheers dude. i was thinking about taking the s away from the word sport and replace it with the big red S if that makes sence, sort of unique but still says sport which at the end of the day thats all it is.
  5. nice car mate. although i reckon you should try getting a silver stereo surround to replace the 90s wood effect. the only badthing about the ghia i think, but hey thats my opinion. you can sometimes get them on ebay for arround a tenner if your lucky to find one.
  6. try posting in the 'Ask Tezza' section to find out how much you can get the parts from ford for, theres not a post there at the moment for the mk2 but the prices for the mk1 mouldings/strips etc are fairly cheap so it can't be that much more. i think the parts all come primered ready to paint so yeah that doesn't answer your question on how much to get them painted. i've read before that fitting is really easy you could do that yourself.
  7. yeah i know what you mean but the ST front grille is considerably smaller than the normal focus grill which will mean a different bumper completely, but i'm guessing its still the same chassis underneath. i think i'll stop being lazy and give ford a ring.
  8. it sounds like tonic, its the lightest blue you can get i think. as for the wing mirror covers, the next lightest blue is the 'aquarius' blue i think, but thats well off tonic. i think your paint code is on the label which is stuck onto the chassis where you open your drivers door it should be underneath the latch bit where the door mechanism locks too. sounds confusin but open your door you should see it. also the paint codes are here: http://www.ffoc.co.uk/modules.php?name= ... c&t=120724 dunno if this helps though.
  9. yeah thats what im asking. if i could get the st bumpers and directly swap them for the normal bumpers? which would mean i would also need the st fog light surrounds. thanks for the spoiler help though.
  10. i have a focus sport but want to stick a ST bodykit on at some point maybe, or at least the spoiler. can anyone confirm that the body kit is a straight swap as the front bumper has a smaller upper grille, but i have been told before it 'should' fit but i just want it confirming many thanks
  11. i heard they were bringing out a 2.0 litre 140ps st lookalike model. your not getting the sport s confused with this are you?
  12. are there any technical people that could confirm this? especially about the heated seats? thanks
  13. i'd imagine that you would have to fit the heaters into the seats and also fit esp if this is possible, i don't think they would already be there so you can just put a switch on the end if you know what i mean. this will probably cost a lot as it may mean getting new seats rather than just heaters, but i'm no expert so i could be wrong
  14. did you do the fog light sourrounds yourself or have them done profesionally? cheers
  15. it does come out, took me a while to get it out. try using some sort of hooks like a coat hanger or something and get it in behind the cluster and pull and do this on the sides. you will find you cant get behind the top but it does come out eventually, i ended cracking the plastic screen though lol.
  16. mine is the same too. surely there must be a reason for this if they were all built the same. summit to do with the air bags perhaps? i dunno but its got to be there for a reason and can not be a mistake surely.
  17. i'm personally on a petrol and have noticed that the amount i've spent on fuel recently has been rather high (apart from the ever increasing rate in fuel of course). i'll check it out, thanks
  18. mine does exactly the same. i have a 1.6 sport. its like a short sudden burst (if its the same thing your talking about), also my car sounds as if i have put a aftermarket exhaust kit on as well, like a rugged sound when accelarating, but mine is less than six months old so i can't see there being a problem, and again as mjd says, its not affecting performance at all so again i'm not worrying, but GiggsIrish, if you do find that it is a problem please let me or all of us know about it as surely warranty would cover? Cheers
  19. and the head unit removal keys and blanking plate???
  20. i have also bought from allen ford on Ebay and i can vouch for them. If only i had known about me 10% discount ey. How about the Head unit removal keys for the audio section, and maybe the panels to cover the hole when after market head units are placed in perhaps?
  21. i'm trading in my mk2 foci in end of the year for a cc, really can't wait to get it, what a stunning motor, i am already envious. however i believe the light brown leather interior which is in the show rooms now is a bit too mustardy for my liking but the beige isn't too bad. what optional extras have you got, NitroSi, ?
  22. i personally disagree. i reckon the mk2 is much better looking (hence why i went for one.) its just that, at the moment, there are more stuff available for the mk1 but in time im sure we'll get more stuff out there for the good old new mk2's.
  23. plus, apart from this forum, which is great i might add, most of the other forums are mostly about the previous model(s). not so much a problem for me though i'm sure when more aftermarket parts are available then there will be more interest especially in the how to's section etc
  24. is that including the cutting of the key? cheers, Damien
