  1. i got a bit panicky over my MK2s gear stick a while back, i could hear some rubbing almost like a fabricky ripping noise and wondered wtf it was finally realised it was the leather gaiter
  2. you should ideally run your Aircon for half an hour at least once a week, which in the current climate seems easy to do anyway :)
  3. heh i resent fords current servicing scheme, they say my diesel foci doesnt need a new airfilter every 12 months
  4. ummm mike if your current car is the one in your avatar its not a MK2 cant say i have had one through for my MK2 late 2007 1.6tdci though
  5. glad to see you got the leak stopped Yaumeister, i was possibly thinking of getting these when my warranty is up, as much as it pains me to agree with fraud though it isnt exactly there fault if it was replaced with non standard parts
  6. i was always under the impression you used engine braking when gearing down for either traffic lights or going down a hilll lifting off from a constant speed in say in 5th would just result in the car gradually slowing down and stalling if you didnt change i thought :?
  7. but its so satisfying at the same time. careful you will anger the the ffoc vegetablists they are a rowdy bunch
  8. well you could pop the SD card into a computer and see if anything pops up? if it is a blank one it should have no metail contacts on it
  9. albatros there are many sizes of SD cards SD, Mini SD, Micro SD so you need to know what format first then you can pick a size most go over 8gb now which is about the size of a dvd i think so you can cram whatever you like on. if the sat nav system supports folders you can create albums if you like basically as long as your PC has a card reader it should be a simple case of drag and drop you should know that the sound quality of the MP3 will determine how many you can fit on, if you have lots of high quality songs then they will take up more room
  10. wow what a bunch of idiots i hope you asked for a discount off the the next service or a small bit of componsation
  11. brighter bulbs? LHD Reverse light to replace the fog light? new rear clusters?
  12. i believe that as long as genuine ford parts are used this will retain the warranty however since the warranty will no doubt be done with as its over 37k its up to you how to proceed i would say, ill certainly not be going near a fraud dealer after my warranty is up
  13. i dont notice any difference shell, asda, morrisons, bp its all the same stuff to me try buying fuel in eastern europe
  14. mine makes me chuckle! me TRACK! car device please? me I SAID TRACK NOT DEVICE car sorry? me YOU WILL BE car command canceld me *^&$^%^$^*%&*)*(**"£"£"%$^%^

  16. Yup same on all the MK2 its a ball ache and i still hate it, goddamn europeans no more free liberations
  17. Aardy correct me if im wrong but are those 3 modes just for the power steering? the are on my zetec :?: :?:
  18. if the CAT caused a fault which rendered the rest of the exhaust damaged then they should replace it, only fair
  19. Aardy tell your missus if she sends me an additional £45 ill send her a custom one  i very very much doubt there is an additional ford one, i find it handy for holding onto plastic cards and parking passes etc.
  20. DPF? maybe they cleaned that? after its 3rd service ford can kiss my hairy white ar$e its not getting done by them anymore.
  21. x2 it took 3 seperate ford garages 1 attempt each to fix a leak into my boot. Polar Ford Castleford: said there was a missing grommet not installed in the car when built, replaced and tested car still leaking into built Polar Ford Wakefield: tried a service bulliten fix, this also did not work, was even told that they may not be able to fix it next time under warranty (WTF!!!!) finally Peoples ford in Liverpool fixed the problem, they kept the car in over night and it sounds like they tested the car properly rather than the other two. clearly the other two did not do their jobs prope
