  1. i would just get the body shop man to wang some fiberglass in them and sand them out personally, would take all of 30 minutes before its sprayed.... and the blue leds are defo illegal unless your an emergency wagon!
  2. why not go to powerflow and have them make you one?
  3. ford adjusted the doors on my fiesta by bending the frame, i have the same noise in my car and i tweeked the frame a bit and it stopped, it worked for me but unless your really really brave i wouldnt recommend you do it yourself
  4. hard enough getting bumpers in a car, i remember the craic i had putting a full reiger kit in the back of my old mp3....... nightmare jumps to mind......
  5. if its not being too nosey how much would the st spoiler set you back, i got on today and i paid 110 for it but it does have all the bits it also had a clear brake light if thats normal?
  6. what do the wind delfectors do ? deflect the wind!!! maybe. means you can have the window open a bit when your driving without all the noise etc...... but then i doubt it would be an issue seeing you have been living on the moon!! :P
  7. eyesores like those pay for the wheels!!! so i wont complain too much, the wind deflectors are a good job, why you interested in a set!!
  8. i paid a grand for them but i got some good discount from the guys at Top Gear, only thing is the delivery wasn't too hot only came 4 days late. as far as the tow bar is concerened i sell the caravans i dont tow them and i wouldn't spoil my good car!
  9. just thought i'd show off a bit cause im chuffed to bits!! 19x8 with 215/ 35 r 19 tyres and for anyone wondering not a rack limiter in sight and no rubbing at all. i know it sitting up like big foot but i'd say some Eibach won't be far off.
  10. i had a machine silver focus and all the plastic trim and the bumpers was a different colour to the metal bodywork, my new focus is all the same colour bumpers and body, most people will tell you plastic paints a different colour anyways, even if there painted the same time as other parts without reloading the gun!!
  11. well all i can say about diesels is, i love living in northern ireland as i can pop across the boarder and fill my 1.8 tdci for £30 quid and get a whopping 450 miles outta the tank, i had a 1.8 petrol focus before this and was paying 40 - 45 quid for about 350 miles, if you want to save money diesel is the way to go, but the downside is you will miss the nippyness of the petrol car, i know i do.
  12. focus st alloys are 8 inch wide, so you will need the rack limiter, mondeo st220 wheels are 7.5 inch wide and wont.
  13. done this myself today and i am quite suprised how sturdy the facia is compared to the one from the old focus,
  14. definitly would be! fitted these on saturday in 20 minutes dont see what all the above fuss was about, i thought it was quite straight forward and the instructions were basic but to the point. Definitly a good job car is staying much cleaner now.
  15. my neighbour has 18 inch wheels and no rack limiter and has no rubbing problems! however the wheels are 7.5 inch wide.
  16. because as the sub displaces the air in the boot it causes the 6x9's to move at the same time as the sub and hence ruins the sound,,
  17. looking at the shelf and the fact it relativly flat, if you were so inclined you could make one your self out of a half sheet of 18mm mdf and some acoustic carpet!
  18. will probably be stamped on the back of the block and i would say it would be impossible to see, best place to find it will be in your registration documents.
  19. is the rack limiter not only fitted with 8 inch wide wheels, as my neighbour fitted the 18 x 7.5 inch 7 spoke ford alloys and has had no problem with rubbing on full lock.
  20. i would say you have to remove the entire door card, but i'm only guessing.
  21. have seen a nice set of 19's for my new focus, and was wondering does anyone on here know what size tyre i would need to go on the rims to suit the car??? thanks.
  22. i would assume it would be something like the ones available here. http://www.consumabulbs.com/files/bdet.php?id=201
