We lost that but gained other things though, like footwell holders, rear courtesy light and colour coded side strips and boot strip. Its give and take and not something that bothers me tbh, i would rather have the stuff i have in lieu of not locking the doors from the passenger side :)

Checked, the passenger door doesnt lock or unlock the rest of the car. I have the remote fob set to one push opens drivers door only too btw

Mine does that too. If you press the power button it comes back on. It must be a common problem, the old Sony 6 disc i used to have in my old car was always doing strange things like that and worse. It was generally crap even though it looked and sounded better than the cd6000. Same here, sony single disk mp3 gen 2 - did it earlier today!

The dash changes took place on the 2007.5 build, which began in may 2007 iirc :wink:

I also have lockwoods like antos, half the price of fords ones and i prefer them too :D

Used to happen when I had a Sony Ericsson W760 - i gave up with the phone and went back to a Samsung, but I had to be honest assumed it was just my rubbish phone!

the 2007.5 build lights on the mark 2 are white and red as per my 57 reg and a few other with 57s will confirm .....

Correct, the LX and SPORT trim levels were dumped during 2007 and replaced by the Style, before the facelift came out.

yes but they dont have blue LED! lol which is why i prefer them, nothing in my car lights up blue and the nice sketched outline of the MK2 to me is better than the word FOCUS in some dull arial type font. Anto - heres a few pictures on my car ....

I believe its just that. I never had one on mine and there was no mention of it in the service book, nor is any stamp given, so I didnt bother

If you scroll using the flick wheel on the stalk to outside air temp and hold the menu/reset button it will toggle between C and F without changing everything else 8)

run the aircon on full heat for about half an hour, that will kill the bacteria and get rid of the smell

are you certain seb? i dont recall the manual mentioning that the 6cd 2nd gen could play mp3s. i cant get to my book at the minute, humble apologies if im at error :D The manual I have for mine states that the Gen 2 (red/rounded) sony 6 cd can play mp3 cd's :wink:

the six cd version is not mp3 capable if its the green square one, however if its the later rounded red one then it should be able to.
