I have a diesel. Feom my basic unserstanding, I need 5W30 oil? Tescos is doing a deal on the castrol on this. Will this do diesels or is it for petrols? I noticed there was other oils that had Diesel written on the front of them.

I apporve. Where did the headlights off the black focus go, not selling them by any chance? :p -
Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

Definatley looks like holograming to me. You can really see it below the window, a long buffer trail. Someones been doing a bad job using a machine polisher. To fix it, I'd recommend finding a detailer. Go to http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/ and see if theres anybody nearby willing to give it a job. The job wont be cheap though. £200 - 250 at a guess. Your paintwork should look like new tho. Heres a picture of the same car I posted earlier but mahcine polished. (Back quarter isnt done yet)

What type of buffer marks, do you have a photo? Any chance they look like this?
-
It's illegal without washers. They will fail MOT if the beam isnt straight but should pass otherwise.

Get them to give you a 2.0. :D -
Yea, you can put ST headlights in an ordinary focus. I'm not sure whether you need any rewireing though. Yea, will fit fine. Only thing that wont fit is the side skirts.

Triggster replied to zetecste's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
It said Ford recommended though. On the topic of this, is there a sump key that you have to get? Was thinking of changing my oil as its getting low. -

I seen 5l of castrol oil today from tescos for £16. Would of done the job? -
Dont you need to buy a seperate bluetooth module?
-
Theres holes behind them. I took mine off and colour coded them. Looks much better. However if I were to respray my car I'd get some metal welded behind and fill the hole over.

Is it a 05? Dont know English plates.

Boiling water worked fine for me, used it on my corsa before as well.
-
Kettle of boiling water to loosen up the glue. Old card such as a credit card to get in behind. Possibly fishwire. My TDCI badge was hard to get off and had to resort to that.
-
Looks very expensive. Can get one for £25 off ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/U380-OBD2-EOBD-OB ... 286.c0.m14

It'll fit fine, but the only thing is that you'll need new foglights as the ST ones are different from the standard focus. (Plus all the grills and seals)

At last. :D -
To get my ST spoiler, front & rear bumper, side strips on the doors painted and fitted cost me £250. I had bought the side skirts in my colour already. To buy the front bumper new with the grills, fog surronds as well as the fitting parts for the rear and a set of fog surronds came to £260. About £120-140 of that was for the bumper. This thread gives you a good idea of what you need. You'll also need new foglights as the ones on the existing focus are different to the ST, they cost about £55.

Good stuff, keepo them comeing. sl170 and JayM, thats just what I needed to see as the eibachs I was looking as lower that amount. I'd have the 18" like sl170 tho. menzies26, WANT. However why does your ST have side indicators rather than the ST badge? -
I'm in two minds as to whether to lower my car... Pro's are Improved handleing Looks good Cons Not as smooth ride £££ I'm not convinced it'll make much difference as my car doesnt look like it's sitting overly high as I believe it came with sports suspension. Can anyone post picutres of there car lowered, please? Ideally 30/35mm.
-
Theres the eibach kit on ebay 30mm front, 35mm rear for £115.99 I had a flick through the the posts and I cant see overly much difference tbh.

Forgot to post mine up here. Progress page: http://alanewing.co.uk/car.html Started out as: Now where here at the moment: Dunno whether to lower or not. :S
